The MobiLenin system was selected among the 25 best entries to the SIGGRAPH 2005's ACM Student research competetion

The MobiLenin system is accepted as a poster presentation to SIGGRAPH 2005, the prestigious international conference on computer graphics and interactive techniques. The MobiLenin system allows a group of people to interact with an interactive music video on a large public display using their personal mobile phone. It is a research project by Jürgen Scheible, University of Art & Design, Helsinki, jscheib [at] uiah.fi and Timo Ojala, University of Oulu, Finland, timo.ojala [at] ee.oulu.fi

Lenin's Godson (Jurgen Scheible)
works on a film about a military aircraft crash on 1.6.1984. A frech Mirage VF based in Colmar flew without any control for 45 Min. over German territory and crashed in GErmany into a garden in the home town of Lenin's Godson. The pilot had exited the plane already in France via forced exiting in the air.

Jurgen Scheible is now making a computer grapic animation of the flight and the crash scenario combining it with real video footage from the place where the aircraft crashed..

Lenin's Godson VJ performance
Lenin's Godson has started to use his video art to perform as VJ in collaboration with DJ's in clubs and cultural events.

See here some parts of a show at Caisa - Helsinki's top cultural event center - at a World Music Club on 04.03.05. in conjunction with musicians Robin DeWan and Jason Carter. Guests: The Eclectic Voices (Jukka Leppilampi, Juki Välipakka, Kaarle Mannila, Dan Weeks)
